TheNavigatordriftsoutintothePacificOcean.Thetwounwittingpassengerseventuallyfindeachother.Atfirst,theyhavegreatdifficultylookingafterthemselves,butadaptafterafewweeks.Atonepoint,theysightanavyshipandhoistabrightly-coloredflag,notrealizingitsignalsthattheshipisunderquarantine.Asaresult,theothervesselturnsaway. Finally,theshipgroundsitselfnearaninhabitedtropicalislandandspringsaleak.WhileRollodonsadeepseadivingsuitandsubmergestopatchthehole,theblacknativescanoeoutandtakeBetsycaptive.WhenRolloemergesfromtheocean,thenativesarescaredoff,enablinghimtorescueBetsyandtakeherbacktotheship.Thenativesreturnandtrytoboardtheship.Afterafiercestruggle,RolloandBetsytrytoescapeinasmalldinghy.Itstartstosink,andthenativesswiftlyovertakethemintheircanoes.Justwhenallseemslost,anavysubmarinesurfacesrightunderneaththemandtheyaresaved.

设计有巧思。轮船上夜间恐怖氛围很有，无意间互相吓设计得很有趣，做饭的机械化工具化也很有意思。最后潜水、食人族、潜水艇也很妙，总的来说很有想象力，但是少了一些作者性的表达，有点像杂技电影。sky liu
