百老汇名剧改编，从调度到表演舞台剧痕迹都很重。我觉得这部里Ann Sheridan很惊艳，虽然扮相不适合她。男主Whiteside是按Alexander Woollcott的模子塑造的，扮演者Monty Woolley后来有被考虑去演Laura里的Lydecker——又一个基本以Woollcott为原型的角色。月明星稀
很棒的神经喜剧，要的就是这种犀利的台词和deliver台词快速的节奏，整部片子很流畅很有趣，即便人物设定是在轮椅上在房子里，但场面一直很热闹。Annie好漂亮好有趣，还有各种奇怪的人物都挺让人印象深刻。迄今为止看到过的最奇怪的道具和动物。这部片子的blooper也挺多，台前幕后都挺欢乐。@洋洋
真的是太冗长了！男主谢利真的是从头吵到尾，神烦这个角色了，真是欠抽。他的好友洛林演得不错，很漂亮很有气质，也挺有喜剧感的！贝蒂的角色亮点不大，演一个机灵的女秘书玛吉，最后部分演得很动人。不过他的男友感觉和谢利一样咋咋呼呼个不停！和她一点都不搭！斯坦利的儿子查理德挺帅气的，和贝蒂如果是cp一定很棒！这片也是演儿子的演员的处女座。Jack Lemmon

一看就是舞台剧改编的，台词太多，表现浮夸，很闹，丑角都是单纯的丑角，有点好笑但不不多。单看台词，核心角色Whiteside应该是风趣有魅力的人，自私浮夸但不至于惹人讨厌，但开场几分钟的戏只塑造出一个令人厌恶的粗鲁自负毒舌自大狂
